Jesus Attended
The Feast Of
Tabernacles
By
The Twelve Apostles
The Unbelief Of Jesus’ Brothers
After this Jesus went
about in Galilee; He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to
kill him. Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles
was at hand. So his brothers said to
Him, “Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples
may see the works you are doing. For no
man works in secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things,
show yourself to the world.” For even
his brothers did not believe in Him.
Jesus said to them, “The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because
I testify of it that its works are evil.
Go to the feast yourselves. Myself is going up to this feast, because I
have come to teach the world the true way of worship, how to worship God in
spirit and in truth, and this Feast Of Tabernacles is
very important to God Almighty. As it is being celebrated in heaven, even so
humanity should do the same here on earth, from year to year.” John 7:1-10
Jesus At The Festival Of Booths
The Jews were looking
for Him at the feast, and saying, “Where is He?” And there was much muttering about Him among
the people. While some said, “He is a good man,” others said, “No, He is
leading the people astray.” Yet for fear
of the Jews no one spoke openly of Him. John 7:11-12
About the middle of
the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. The Jews marvelled
at it, saying, “How is it that this man has learning, when he has never
studied?” So Jesus answered them, “My
teaching is true, because I teach the Truth;
if any man’s will is to do God’s will, he shall know whether the teaching
is from God or whether I am speaking as an ordinary man. You can confirm my
teachings by observing quiet time and meditation, and thereby inquire from God
Almighty. He who speaks on his own
authority seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of God is faithful,
and in him there is no falsehood. Did
not Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to
kill me?” The people answered, “Who is seeking to
kill you?” Jesus answered them, “I did
one deed, and you all marvel at it.
Moses gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the
fathers), and you circumcise a man upon the Sabbath. If on the Sabbath a man receives
circumcision, so that the laws given to humanity through Moses may not be
broken, are you angry with me because on the Sabbath I made a man’s whole body
well? Do not judge by appearances, but
judge with right judgment.” John 7:14-24
Is This the Christ?
Some of the people of
Jerusalem therefore said, “Is not this the man whom they seek to kill? And here He is, speaking openly, and they say
nothing to Him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the
Christ? We know where this man comes
from; and the holy book stated that Christ shall come from Bethlehem.” So Jesus proclaimed, as He taught in the
temple, “You know me, and you know where I come from? But I have not come as an
ordinary man; I am God Almighty in the midst of humanity, in the form of an
ordinary human being. I am the Lord
Almighty. I come from heaven, and I sent myself.” So they sought to arrest Him; but no one laid
hands on Him, because nobody can arrest God Almighty. Yet many of the people believed in Him; they
said, “When the Christ appears, will He do more signs than this man has done?”
John 7:25-31
Officers Are Sent To
Arrest Jesus
The Pharisees heard
the crowd thus muttering about Him, and the chief priests and Pharisees sent
officers to arrest Him. Jesus then said,
“I shall be with you a little longer, and then I go to back to heaven where I
come from; you will seek me and you will
not find me; where I am you cannot come, because you do not know the way to
heaven or how to visit heaven.” The
Israelites said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we shall
not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach
the Greeks? What does He mean by saying,
‘You will seek me and you will not find me,’ and, ‘Where
I am you cannot come’?” John 7:32-36
Rivers Of Living
Water
On the last day of the
Feast Of Tabernacles, the great day, a High Day
Sabbath, Jesus stood up and proclaimed, “If any one thirsts, let him come to me
and drink. He who believes in me, as the
scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.’” Now this He said about the Spirit, which
those who believed in Him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been
given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:37-39
All these statement refer to the word of God, water of life, Holy Spirit, everlasting life, and everlasting treasures and pleasures in heaven.
Division Among The People
When they heard these words,
some of the people said, “This is really the prophet.” Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some
said, “Is the Christ to come from Galilee?
Has not the scripture said that the Christ is descended from David, and
comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?” So there was a division among the people over
Him. Some of them wanted to arrest Him,
but no one laid hands on Him. John 7:40-44
Jesus came from Bethlehem, but some people thought that He was from Galilee.
The Unbelief Of Those In Authority
The officers then went
back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, “Why did you not
bring Him?” The officers answered, “No
man ever spoke like this man!” The Pharisees
answered them, “Are you led astray, you also?
Have any of the authorities or of the Pharisees believed in Him? But this crowd, who do not know the law, are
accursed.” Nicode′mus,
who had gone to Him before, and who was one of them, said to them, “Does our
law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he
does?” They replied, “Are you from
Galilee too? Search and you will see that no prophet is to rise from Galilee.”
John 7:45-52
Dismissal
They went each to his
own house,
John 7:53
but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
Meaning Of The Feast Of Tabernacles
Apostle Matthew: What is the Feast of Tabernacles?
The Head: It is the Feast of Tents, which is celebrated in the seventh month.
Apostle Matthew: How do you congregation celebrate it?
The congregation celebrate it as God stated in the holy book, but it is not yet being perfectly being done, because all the materials needed for the celebration are not yet available.
During the celebration, all the congregation stay in the holy place. But, this is not yet being done, because necessary buildings and amenities are not yet available. Various tents have to be constructed, but this is not being done, because one week to the feast called Preparatory Prayers, most of the ministers do not come.
Great festivities are usually organized, from day to day, presenting gifts and offerings to God and offering burnt sacrifice to God Almighty, every day. Foods are cooked for the congregation to eat as much as they want. Evening prayers and worship, and midnight prayers and worship are also organized. The celebrations hold on Sabbath Day and on the High Day Sabbaths.
As of now, most of these things are not being done, because the ministers of God are not yet sufficient, and most of the available ones do not participate in rendering regular services and active ministrations during the festival. Most of the flock, the members, do not bring gifts and offerings for God as they should. What they give to God are the leftover foods in their plates and the little changes, remnant money, in their pockets.
Jesus Is The Lord Of The Feast Of Tabernacles
Wrong: Go to the feast
yourselves; I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully
come.” So saying, he remained in Galilee. John 7:8,9
Right: “Go to the feast yourselves.
Myself is going up to this feast, because I have come to teach the world the
true way of worship, how to worship God in spirit and in truth, and this Feast Of Tabernacles is very important to God Almighty. As it is
being celebrated in heaven, even so humanity should do the same here on earth,
from year to year.”
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, … is there any word from the mouth of Jesus, which has not come to fulfilment?
The Head: There is none.
Apostle Matthew: And later, it was discovered that the word did not come to fulfilment?
The Head: None.
Apostle Matthew: Or that the word is ticklish?
The Head: None.
Then, why are the bible authors ticklish?
The Head: Some of the things written were not correctly written. Sometimes, it is not what should be written that has being written.
Apostle Matthew: There was never a time Jesus told his brother that He was not going to the Feast of Tabernacles. The recorded statement is not true.
Son of man, who is the Lord of the Feast of Tabernacles?
The Head: It is God the Father. He is Jesus Christ.
Apostle Matthew: So, how come that Feast of Tabernacles was about to hold, and Jesus said that He would not attend?
It was because of the feast that Himself came down to the earth, to teach humanity. And that was what He celebrated, as recorded in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The true record is saying here that Jesus did attend the Feast of Tabernacles. The bible authors are writing something that runs like a lamb, “ihe n’agba ka nwa ewu” – something that is out of line, something that is all lies and fabrications. Son of man, it is not true that Jesus refused to attend the Feast of Tabernacles. It is not true. This is being tricky.
The Head: Thanks be to God, who is making the facts known.
Apostle Matthew: What themselves are saying is that the FirstSon of God, Jesus Christ, is ticklish. Son of man, if I told you to eat food, and that myself does not eat, that I am not hungry. But you insisted that I should eat my food. I took the food and kept it aside. And myself kept watch, when you were not present, when you were busy eating your own food, I went behind to eat my own food. If yourself saw me, what would you say?
The Head: I would say that the person is not honest, does not say the truth. Or, that the person is a hypocrite. But the son of man is the way, the truth and the life.
Necessary Corrections
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, first correction starts here, “..not going to the feast..” it is not true. That was not how it happened. There was never a time Jesus said that He was not going to the Feast of Tabernacles. Jesus did not say that His brother should go and that Himself was not attending. Son of man, read it again.
Apostle Matthew: What Jesus told them was this: “Let themselves go to the Feast of Tabernacles, because the great feast is very important. This great feast is very important to God the Father in heaven.” And themselves went because themselves knew that what Jesus said was true.
Son of man, the brothers and sisters of Jesus did not usually believed all the things that Jesus said, because themselves do not want to be concerned with anything about Jesus.
Apostle Matthew: But, why did themselves went to the feast?
The Head: They were already celebrating the feast before Jesus said it. Holy Moses taught the Israelites how to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, and they have being celebrating it.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, themselves went to the feast and Jesus followed suit. There was never a time Jesus said that they should go to the feast and that Himself was not attending.
The Power Of Solidarity
And everyone went to
his own house. John 7:53
1.
The Feast of Tabernacles is for the gathering of the
children of God, the true Saints, unto God. It represents rapture and the gathering
of the Saints unto God their Father. As a farmer harvest crops from his farm,
even so God will take the Saints to His kingdom of heaven.
2.
Now is the time to gather together all the children of
God as one family.
3.
All religions and churches must unite to do the will
of God.
4.
In doing so, they have to gather, meet and worship God
in the city of the rising sun, the end time holy land for all the nations of
the world, called DivineBase Ministry. This ministry is the only church
approved by God Almighty in heaven and on earth.
5.
Blessed is he who obeys this call to unity, to
righteousness, to holiness and to true worship.
6.
All must join Christianity, and by Christianity I mean
Sabbath, which was the only religion established by God, as was given in the
original Ten Commandments to humanity
through Moses, and as was attended by Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
7.
All those who oppose the above call are doing so to
their own deceit and detriment.
